New-York based Marina Franklin is emerging as one of the hottest comedians in the comedy scene today, with such notable appearances as Chapelle’s Show, NBC’s Last Comic Standing Season II, VH1’s Black to the Future, Oxygen’s Girls Behaving Badly, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, and Showtime at The Apollo. She is a favorite in Comedy Festivals across the world, like Montreal’s Just For Laughs, New York Underground Comedy Festival, Ireland’s Kilkenny Comedy Festival, and Nashville’s Bonnaroo Music Festival. Franklin’s career in entertainment wasn’t always in stand-up comedy; originally from Chicago, she made her acting debut at the Illinois Rep Theatre. She then quickly realized her love for acting and went on to pursue a MFA in acting at Syracuse University. Franklin is viciously likeable, if there is such a thing.

Daughter of comedy legend Jackie Mason, Sheba brings the crowd to tears all around New York City and especially in her show: Punchlines and Pregnant. Sheba can be seen performing regularly at the TriBeCa Comedy Club.

Wali Collins is a regular at all of the main stream Comedy clubs in the United States including New York City and Los Angeles. He even headlines and tours at Comedy clubs in Europe and Asia. Television credits include NBC, CBS, FOX, HBO, ABC’, VH1, Comedy Central, Netflix, Hulu. David Letterman caught Wali’s act and recruited him to warm-up for his show. Later that season Wali performed his stand up on the “Late Show with David Letterman”. Quoted by GQ magazine “Wali’s true purpose becomes evident”.

Alingon Mitra is a stand up comedian known for his tight jokes, original thoughts, and affable presence. Making his television debut on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Alingon finished first in the public vote 5 weeks in a row to win the comic comeback contest and perform on the finale. He has since been invited to do stand up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and Adam Devine’s House Party on Comedy Central. In addition, he wrote for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and Adam Ruins Everything. Alingon went on to be named one of the “New Faces of Comedy” at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. He also won both the Boston Comedy Festival and the “Funniest Comic in New England” contest in the same year. Alingon was a writer for the humor magazine The Harvard Lampoon and can now be found on Twitter, on Facebook, or in bed.

Mike Vecchione – Born in Youngstown, Ohio and raised Italian American and Catholic. My father was involved in a family business and my mother was/is an elementary school teacher. As a family, we moved back and forth between northeast Ohio and South Florida throughout my childhood. Started playing contact football at age 9 in Florida and wrestling at age 13 in Ohio. My senior year of high school I placed second in the Florida AAA State Tournament and went on to college at Pennsylvania State University where I wrestled in 1991-1992 and tutored student athletes. Moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1995 with my bachelors degree in criminal justice. Began work counseling adjudicated teens and children with mental health issues. Started teaching special education in the Philadelphia School District in 1998. Received my masters in Special Education in 2001 from Cabrini College and continued to teach in both public school and residential school settings. Started stand up comedy in 2000 and moved to New York City in 2003. Was the 1983 and 1984 Spelling Bee runner up at Pine Grove Elementary School. I failed to advance to the national bee in Washington D.C. because of the complexity of the word roothless, which I still spell with two o’s.

Dante Nero is a comedian, born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. A trained martial artist, Nero dabbled in various fields before turning to comedy. He earned a fencing scholarship to SUNY New Paltz, before working for a phone company and serving as a bouncer and an exotic dancer. In 2001, Dante turned to a different sort of performance: stand up comedy. He quickly made a name for himself, working with established and successful comics like Tracy Morgan and Mike Epps. He co-hosted The Black Phillip Show with Patrice O’Neal, a relationship advice show on Sirius XM Radio. Dante has appeared on The Opie & Anthony Channel, Hot 97, and Chappelle’s Show. An accomplished actor, Dante has appeared on Z Rock on IFC, Damages on FX, and the popular series Fringe on FOX. Recently, Nero had a role in the NBC crime drama, The Blacklist.

In the hard-hitting New York comedy world, D.C. Benny is a heavyweight contender. His nickname “D.C.” was given to him by Harlem’s legendary host; “Uncle” Jimmy Mack, who sadly passed away in the 2014 Tracy Morgan car accident. Benny’s unusual style of telling autobiographical stories, inhabited by original characters has been sharpened for almost thirty years as a performer. His personal essays, stories, and articles have been featured in New York Magazine, The New York Observer, Narratively, and Heeb Magazine. Benny’s diverse fan base know him from a wide range of appearances; his “White Boy Rips The Apollo” clip with almost ten million views, his Comedy Central Presents, one the of the network’s highest-rated half-hour specials, as a top eight finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, his role as Caesar in John Singleton’s feature film “Illegal Tender”, as “Chaz” on the soap opera “As The World Turns”, and national commercials for Verizon, Dell, Volkswagon, Wendy’s, AIG, as well as the Budweiser “How You Doin’?” superbowl spots campaign. His weekly comedic story-telling show, Urban Myth, became an underground staple, where performers such as Dave Chappelle, Robert Kelley, Jim Gaffigan, Jim Norton, Jay Oakerson, Kevin Hart, Mike Epps, and SNL’s Dean Edwards would tell their true, funny, stories, to a packed house at The Zinc, a downtown New York jazz bar. Currently, Benny co-hosts the story-telling podcast “Tall But True” with his friend, Cash Cab’s Ben Bailey, where guests like Ray Romano, Dom Irrera, Colin Quinn, Adam Ferrara, Artie Lange, and Bill Burr share funny stories and talk smack.

Known as “The Latin Lunatic” J.J. Ramirez tours the country as a national headliner. He can be heard frequently on The Howard Stern Show. One of New York’s very best headliners, a regular at America’s top tier clubs including The World Famous Comic Strip, The Improv and Carolines On Broadway. On television, J.J. has appeared on A&E’s “Comedy on the Road”, “Evening at the Improv”, Showtime at the Apollo, Fox’s “Comic Strip Live” and Comedy Central. In the casinos, J.J is also well-entrenched having appeared at Atlantic City’s Borgata Casino and The Tropicana in Las Vegas. He is also featured in the award winning movie The Latin Legends of Comedy.
