    Mike Vecchione

Born in Youngstown, Ohio and raised Italian American and Catholic. My father was involved in a family business and my mother was/is an elementary school teacher. As a family, we moved back and forth between northeast Ohio and South Florida throughout my childhood. Started playing contact football at age 9 in Florida and wrestling at age 13 in Ohio. My senior year of high school I placed second in the Florida AAA State Tournament and went on to college at Pennsylvania State University where I wrestled in 1991-1992 and tutored student athletes. Moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1995 with my bachelors degree in criminal justice. Began work counseling adjudicated teens and children with mental health issues. Started teaching special education in the Philadelphia School District in 1998. Received my masters in Special Education in 2001 from Cabrini College and continued to teach in both public school and residential school settings. Started stand up comedy in 2000 and moved to New York City in 2003. Was the 1983 and 1984 Spelling Bee runner up at Pine Grove Elementary School. I failed to advance to the national bee in Washington D.C. because of the complexity of the word roothless, which I still spell with two o’s.

Shortly after moving to NYC from his native Boston, he was chosen as one of Comedy Central’s Fresh Faces of Comedy and named one of Back Stage Magazine’s 10 Standout Stand-ups. His appearance on Last Comic Standing 4 – where he was the New York City Capital One Audience Favorite – earned him wide recognition and a new legion of fans. His other TV appearances include Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, VH1, Celebrity Apprentice, and 3 Men and a Chick Flick on the WE Network where he served as a host. Interestingly, the credit people seem most impressed by was that he was handpicked to open for Jerry Seinfeld in 2009 at Gotham Comedy Club Jon has performed at multiple festivals including the 2007 HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and the 2010 Great American Comedy Festival at the Johnny Carson Theatre in Norfolk, Nebraska. In addition, he was a critical favorite at the prestigious Montreal “Just for Laughs” Festival where he appeared in both the “New Faces” showcase and the Club Series show “Dating It.” Following his impressive performances, Jon was singled out by the Hollywood Reporter and the Montreal Gazette as a “stand out performer”. Most recently, he was invited to perform at this year’s TBS “Just For Laughs” Comedy Festival in Chicago.

This mix forces her to go beyond the typical humor one would expect to hear, and allows her to connect to audiences from any background. Kevin Downey Jr

Comedian, columnist Kevin Downey, Jr. has been recently labeled, “refreshingly bizarre” by fellow comedian Joe Mulligan. Kevin headlined small rooms all over the U.S. and enjoyed a “cult” following, (that means only 28 people dug him), until his frequent and on-going bookings at the Comedy Stop at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, which has brought him to a new level of notoriety. Kevin now works “A” clubs everywhere, and to larger and larger audiences. The Early Years- Whereas most comedians will lie about where they grew up in an effort to gain, “street creds”, comedian, columnist and all around swell guy Kevin Downey, Jr. actually did grow up in Detroit MI. He made his TV debut at age 6 on CKLW’s, “The Bozo Show” where he won a hockey stick, a 12-pack of Orange Crush and some Tootsie Rolls playing, “The Bug Game”. Like all kids in Detroit Kevin attempted to play ice hockey, but his first and only season was cut short when the coach realized Kevin was too small to skate while wearing all the gear, thus clearing the way for Wayne Gretzky to top Gordie Howe’s achievements. Bright Lights burnin’ Gonna set your Soul on Fire- Kevin moved to New York City looking for fame and fortune. He instantly landed a, “part” at Macy’s Santa land as an elf, (some call it the longest running show on Broadway). Kevin was decimated to learn all elves were fired after the Christmas Eve shift. Shortly thereafter Kevin went to his first comedy show at New York’s Comic Strip Live and realized his calling, though it would be three years until he had the stones to get on stage himself. Money for nothing and your chicks for free Today Kevin is headlining clubs everywhere in the U.S. He can be heard on The Bob and Tom Show, Sirius and XM Satellite radio regularly. He’s been on Comedy Central, What Not to Wear, and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy where he got a much needed haircut. Kevin appears at the Comedy Stop at the Trop in Las Vegas at least four times per year. He has an ever-growing fan base that comes to see him again and again. He writes a column called, “Drinking on $11 a Night”, which can be read in Bachelor Pad Magazine, GC magazine, at usedwigs.com and drinkingon11.com. Kevin’s song, “Secret Garden of Dirty Little Whores, (who think they’re better than me)”, can be heard on college and traditional radio stations throughout the country. He has a nationally released DVD called, “I’m not Gay, but Dont Stop” which can be found on Amazon and Netflix Kevin is not related to Robert Downey, Jr.

HEADLINING: Richie Redding from Katt WIlliams Growth Spurt Tour

    Richie Redding

    Richie Redding

Richie Redding is one of the funniest guys that you’ve probably never heard of. As a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania it was unlikely that his comedy career start off in urban rooms and burlesque shows, but that’s how it happened. He left the corporate world determined to get paid to have fun which is obvious every time he takes the stage. His set is edgy, high energy and autobiographical, drawing on a lifetime of ridiculous true stories that can only happen to a recovering alcoholic Ivy Leaguer. His boy band looks and colorful word selection have gained him well-deserved attention. In 2012, he was selected to perform in Walter Latham’s Comedy After Dark and became a regular on HOT 97FM. In 2013 he beat out 32 comics from all over the world to win the Bermuda International Comedy Competition and also had his TV debut on AXS TV’s Gotham Live! He has headlined in six foreign countries and also had the honor of being selected to feature in a USO tour of South Korea, entertaining the 30,000 American troops stationed there. 2014 was a pivotal year, as he was hand picked by Katt Williams to be the official host of the Growth Spurt Tour and for the HBO special Priceless. Based on that success, Katt then asked him to be his featured act for the Born Again, Again Tour. His fanbase has grown rapidly since, as he was regularly killing crowds of 10,000 people or more! He continues to be a constant presence in New York’s top clubs, especially after command performances at both the Barclay’s Center and Madison Square Garden.

Mike Cannon is a New York City based comedian and a delightful human being. He thinks being a good human being is more important, but for the purposes of this advertisement will keep his thoughts focused to comedy. Mike was a finalist in the 2016 (and 2014) New York Comedy Festival’s “NY’s Funniest” contest and made his stand up television debut in March 2017 on AXS Gotham Comedy Live. He has recently appeared as a regular guest on Fox’s Red Eye, as a panelist on Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, TruTV’s Top Funniest, MTV’s Failosophy, MTV’s Money From Strangers, MSG’s The Bracket and has been a contributing writer/performer for MTV2’s Guy Code. He currently is a regular guest on several Sirius/XM Radio shows including Opie Radio, The Jim Norton and Sam Roberts Show, Bennington, The Compound Media Network, tons of popular podcasts as well as hosting two of his own – Mike and Tim Visit Earth and Irish Goodbye Podcast. Previously Mike hosted a popular weekly web-series called “The Weed News with Mike Cannon” and his conspiracy theory podcast “Deep Inside the Rabbit Hole.” He was also a co-host of Cosmopolitan Magazine’s web-series Sexy vs Skanky and a featured performer on VH1’s “Why Am I Still Single?” Mike regularly tours the country, but when he is home in New York City he plays all the major clubs and is always working on his act. It makes no difference to him whether he’s performing in a bar, an elevator (done that twice), trying jokes out on his friends, or bothering strangers on the subway for loose change or a sandwich. Comedy is his life, and he is dedicated to making the majority of you laugh and the rest of you confused, yet oddly satiated. He also isn’t sure if he used the word satiated correctly.

  • 9pm Monday 1/9 Teddy Smith (Comedy Central) Carmen Lynch (Letterman, Last Comic Standing) Joe Devito (Comedy Central)
Comedian Teddy Smith started his comedy career from a dream he had. He was lost, didn’t know where to go in his career or his life. That night he asked himself, “What am I supposed to do?” That very same night he had a dream he was on stage performing in front of a sold out crowd. He knew he couldn’t sing, but he could make people laugh. A week later he signed up for an open mic, and a few months later won the Washington, DC, Comedy Competition. After two years of plugging away at it, Teddy felt it was time he set his sights on his next challenge: New York City, “The City That Never Sleeps”. Teddy learned fast that story was a falsehood. Whoever came up with that one obviously never rode the NYC subways at four in the morning, because people were sleeping all the time. Maybe they missed the meeting. Teddy Smith took his talents to the world famous Apollo Theatre and got a standing ovation. That lead to a big gig at the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City opening for the Isley Brothers and Teddy Pendergrass. Then he traveled overseas to do a television show called the Comedy Factor and a month tour in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Teddy has done the famous Aspen Comedy Festival were he was named among the “Comics to Look Out For in the Future”. Teddy tours all up and down the east coast, headlining the Paramount Theater in Huntington Long Island, Theater Three in Port Jefferson, The Smithtown Performing Art Theater. He appeared in the movie Umbrellas Kill, and has appeared on Live At Gotham, Comedy Central, Comic View, Showtime, Jay Leno’s Tonight Show Website, The Gordon Elliot Show with Jackie Mason. Teddy covers topics from divorce, family, kids, race and social issues. Teddy Smith currently lives in New York City.

Brian Scott McFadden is one of the most incredibly hilarious & frustratingly unappreciated actor/writer/comedians working today, a performer as remarkably gifted as he is inexplicably unacknowledged. After an undenyingly brilliant & insufficiently lauded performance on The Late Show with David Letterman, Brian followed with an equally spectacular & similarly overlooked appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on CBS. He was most recently seen tearing up the big screen in Ben Stiller’s all star blockbuster “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” in a performance both stunning in its complexity & unfortunate in its brevity. Brian has also just released his new Comedy CD “What Women Want” which has been met with a deceptively small but optimistically moderate level of industry enthusiasm.
