In addition to learning how to be funny like the professionals comedy classes hold immense value teaching numerous life skills.

First and foremost self confidence. The classes are so much fun students forget to be nervous. Slowly they overcome stage freight. This pours over into numerous areas of life. Suddenly job interviews and personal relations are a snap.

Public speaking is a huge component. Beyond overcoming fears, comedy classes build good habits of projecting and annunciating speech. Also microphone technique covered.

These teachers use Improv every day to teach Corporate Team Building. Team work requires listening, focus, respect and trust – also all elements to great improv.

Studies at Stanford, John Hopkins and else where have discovered humor helps build a better brain. While connecting two things, we are actually building critical thinking skills and creativity. This builds our ability to think out of the box and remain focused and resourceful in the moment.
